Eriksson Capital Ab is a family owned company which started in the construction contracting business. Over the years we have invested in a broad range of business-sectors and companies. There are about 25 subsidiaries and nine associated companies included in our group of companies. We aim for long-term ownership in the companies in which we invest. We employ seven people at our main office and roughly 1.000 people in our whole group of companies.

Visionary

Trygve Eriksson has, with his visions, built a solid investment company inthe Nordic countries. The primary goal is to invest in specialized companies that have finished products or services avaliable.

We engage whole-heartedly in our investments where we contribute with both knowledge and capital. We have a wide circle of contacts, consisting of investors in both Sweden and Finland, with whom we cooperate.

An Advisory board assesses investment proposals before we process them further.

We see many possibilities in our world to find both exciting and profitable businesses.

Investments

Globally leading

Our specialized industrial companies sell their products first and foremost to industries. Our largest customers are provision industries and industries that produce medical equipment all over the world. They, in turn, use our products as components in their final products. Some of our products are global leaders within their specific field.

Aircraft and engines

Alandia Air leases SAAB-240 aircraft and General Electric CT7 aircraft engines. The regional aircraft segment is dynamic and exciting and we see great potential in this line of business and believe it will continue to grow in the next couple of years.

The SAAB-340 aircraft is built and constructed in Sweden. 459 of these aircraft have been built to this day and are one of the safest regional aircraft in the world.

Advantages with SAAB-340 aircraft are low fuel and operational costs in addition to their highly developed support.

Caviar

Sturgeon breeding

We have also invested in sturgeon breeding in Varkaus, Finland, for the purpose of producing exclusive caviar.

Properties

In addition to the properties we own for industrial usage we also own two real-estates and are part owners in a third building in the center of Mariehamn. It is our opinion that the center of Mariehamn should become a more attractive commercial center for both the locals and tourists.

The shipping industry

The shipping industry, which used to be a good source of income, has found itself in a decline due to the economic recession. This applies primarily to the Baltic Sea. We believe, however, that this business has a bright future and that now may come the opportunity to invest in new vessels. We look positively upon the environmental restrictions which we know will be a part of our near future and we feel that environmentally friendly vessels and awareness in operating the vessels are the only option.
